Multi-Vendor Permission Form

 

 

The BIG Network Vendors below have partnered with BIG as a 3rd party administrator to help gather data related to sales in units and inventory on hand for your store. All sales and inventory will be collected, however only the sales and inventory for the vendors you selected below will be provided to that specific vendor.  In order to facilitate the data collection, BIG will install software to export the data.  All data is kept in strict confidence. Sales and inventory data from an individual vendor will not be provided to another vendor (e.g. only Gabriel & Co. data will be reported to Gabriel & Co. and their sales team). 

Retailer participation in The BIG Network™ is FREE.  Retailers will receive a username and password so they can personally manage their permissions to vendors online in Partner Permissions.  As a benefit for participating, retailers are entitled to receive an automatic Daily Sales Report from BIG’s inventory management system, Balance to Buy™.

BIG CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT

The confidential information to be disclosed by Retailer under this Agreement (“Confidential Information”) includes any confidential and/or proprietary information or data that BIG receives from Retailer through BIG’s export software, specifically including: Point-of-Sale (POS) data that is tracked/recorded/collected by Retailer’s POS system, and POS system access information. BIG agrees to use reasonable efforts to prevent and protect the Confidential Information, or any part thereof, from disclosure to any person or entity not authorized by the disclosing party to receive such information other than BIG's employees, consultants, contractors, advisors or agents having a need for disclosure in connection with BIG's authorized use of the Confidential Information and who are under an obligation to keep the same confidential. This Agreement shall be binding upon, inure to the benefit of, and be enforceable by BIG, its successors, and assigns; and Retailer, its successors and assigns. Confidential Information shall not be deemed proprietary and BIG shall have no obligation with respect to such information where the information: a) was known to BIG prior to receiving any of the Confidential Information from Retailer; b) has become publicly known through no wrongful act of BIG; c) was received by BIG without breach of this Agreement from a third party without restriction as to the use and disclosure of the information; d) was independently developed by BIG without use of the Confidential Information; or e) was ordered to be disclosed by a court of competent jurisdiction.

 

BIG TERMS OF DATA USE AGREEMENT

For purposes of high-level industry analysis, BIG anonymizes and aggregates raw data for trending insights to assist with the buying, managing and merchandising of inventory. Click Here to View - Terms of Data Use Agreement 

 

BY SIGNING THIS PERMISSION FORM, I UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT:

  • Participating in The BIG Network™ requires the installation of software to export the data.
  • I give permission for BIG to access my network via a remote session to install the export software. The software provided by BIG will be installed, supported and maintained by BIG. A BIG icon will appear in my system tray and on my desktop.
  • The initial remote session for installation of the export software generally takes 15 minutes or less.
  • No customer information is ever shared with the vendor.
  • No retail prices, gross profit or GMROI is shared with the vendor(s) selected above. Only unit sales and on hand inventory.
  • I give permission for this limited data to be shared with the vendor(s) selected above.
  • I will receive a username and password so I can manage my own permissions.

I hereby give permission to BIG to share our data as specified above. My signature confirms that I have read and understand the nature of this agreement.
