Phew, it’s hot… too hot to be outside, too hot to be inside, and definitely too hot to be clever in this newsletter. So let’s just get straight to the helpful part!

We all know that retailers benefit just as much as vendors from the data-sharing partnerships within The BIG Network. Not only is the burden of sales & inventory reporting taken off their shoulders, they are able to work collaboratively with their sales reps on inventory efficiency – making sure they have the right product from the right vendors in order to maximize sales growth and profits for everyone. And considering we don’t charge retailers to share their sales & inventory data, it’s a true no-brainer. But did you know that retailers in The BIG Network get access to their own reporting as well?

That’s right – while our data-share* retailers are not able to run reports on BTB or slice & dice data every which way, they will get access to a free daily report covering sales & inventory for all of their vendors. It’s an incredibly powerful tool that is offered to them for free just as a benefit of partnering with their vendors:

If you would like to review this report or any part of retailer engagement, just let us know! We are more than happy to review the entire process and the suite of tools we have prepared to facilitate that conversation.

When a vendor requests to partner with a retailer, it’s an offer to invest time, energy, and resources in that mutual business. Vendors don’t pursue partnerships with retailers whose business has little potential for growth or improvement – the juice has to be worth the squeeze! But showing prospective retailer partners with that potential, all they will get just by data-sharing on Balance to Buy sweetens the deal that much more…

Hey, look at that! We weren’t too hot to be clever in this newsletter after all!

*Data-share Retailers represent the vast majority of retailers within The BIG Network – they don’t have access to Balance to Buy, they don’t pay anything and they share data solely for the purpose of partnering with their vendors.
