That wasn’t the most elegant segue ever recorded, but this is too exciting to play it cool. We launched our Vendor Dashboards right before Vegas to give our vendors the best possible suite of tools for the shows, but that didn’t allow much time for training. Now that things have slowed down (a bit), please allow us to walk you through this game-changing new functionality.
What are Vendor Dashboards? A new page within Balance to Buy that provides filterable insight into business trends using visual graphics and multiple KPI’s.
Where can I find Vendor Dashboards? On your Balance to Buy landing page, to the right of the Vendor Version Sum-Det Rpts dropdown menu!
What is included within Vendor Dashboards? Currently, the Vendor Dashboards include two tabs:
- Retailer View – Review sales performance YTD, MTD or beyond with color-coded, progressive charts and visuals. See which retailers, categories, or price points have opportunities for strategic growth, and which ones present challenges that require more attention and/or mitigation.
- Style Grid – Examine sales and inventory on a sku-by-sku basis with imagery and all relevant information, stock levels and KPI’s presented together. Utilize this filterable pictorial* of the top and bottom styles, ranked by the metric you choose, to identify opportunities for expansion or exit.
How do the Vendor Dashboards differ from the reports I usually use in Balance to Buy? Vendor Dashboards are intended to be a high-level representation of business trends, and they can be used in retailer meetings to truly evaluate the performance of a brand based on actual sell-out data. Balance to Buy Reports are far more in-depth, and they will continue to be used for direct action recommendations, such as reorders, memo reconciliations and stock balances.
